I’m the Sports Director In Golf for EDSO (formally known as TD)

 

This video I will cover few things, 

 

In the tournament rules, it states that there will be 6,500 yards for the men championship, unfortunately this is not possible however it will be around 6,100 to 6,200 yards. It’s a hilly, tight course with a slope rating of 127.

 

The OC team will be meeting with the golf club on the 5th May to discuss the yards further so we will know more shortly afterwards.

The Men Cup (Stableford) yardage have changed from 6,500 to 6,000 yards.

 

I’ve emailed all countries regarding Forms 2 and 3 a while ago, I’ve received a few so far so thank you for that. The deadline for Form 2 is April 30th (3 days away). If you can email me the forms before that would be great. For Forms 3 the deadline are 1st June. Again if you are able to send Forms 3 before the deadline, that would be a great help for us so we can plan better for the championships.

 

On July 30th we will have a meeting to go through the tournament rules. 

 

This one is important. If any countries want to bid to host 2027 European Deaf Golf Championships then please email me one week before the meeting to state your country’s interest.

 

As you know i am the current Sports Director in Golf. If anyone wants to be a SD then state your interest by emailing the secretary of EDSO secretary@edso.eu

 

I am happy to continue as a Sports Director if required.
